Near Beaver Lake, Arkansas - February 10, 2011
Being snowed in and unable to travel, yet inspired to make images of the wintery landscape, I decided to make this composition of a group of trees in the forest near my home. The image was made just before sunrise on a very cold morning a few days after a record snowfall in northwest Arkansas. The white highlights on the smaller limbs are actually frost.
