Twin Falls at Richland Creek
Richland Creek Wilderness, Ozark National Forest, Arkansas
The Twin Falls is actually two creeks, Big Devil's Fork and Long Devil's Fork, spilling over a 20-foot bluff as they make their way toward Richland Creek. For this image, I placed my tripod and camera as close as possible at the top of one of the falls, allowing it to dominate the foreground of the scene while revealing the other behind in its entirety. A slow shutter speed was used to create the ghostly blur.
