Lonely Barn
Near Boston, Arkansas
After visiting this location a week earlier during poor light, I decided to use moonlight in a way similar to the image of Shady Grove Church. Due to the poor condition of the barn, I decided that I needed to make an image as soon as possible. For this image, I waited for the 99% full moon setting low on the western horizon to cast a soft, warm light on the scene without washing out the stars above. I composed this lonely, decaying barn facing the setting moon with the large, starry sky above.
