Grotto Falls near Haw Creek
Ozark National Forest, Arkansas
This place is a true Arkansas jewel. As I made several images of the waterfall, I realized that the experience of the canyon as a whole was inspiring me the most. I decided to use my widest lens and include as much of the canyon as possible into the image. I liked the fresh, new greens of the early spring as well as the colors, shapes and lines of the ancient rock on the walls of the canyon and boulders while including the falls at the right.
