Petit Jean State Park, Arkansas
This image represents an idea that I had to photograph Cedar Falls with high flow in the usually dry Arkansas fall. On this particular morning, I was able to get to the falls after several days of heavy rain. To make this image, I waded out into the rapids and did my best to get a firm footing for my tripod in this spot composing the water coming directly at me while placing the distant waterfall in the gap of the trees upstream.
