Mesa Arch at Canyonlands

Mesa Arch is a popular destination for photographers visiting Canyonlands National Park. Even though it had been photographed countless times, I could not resist the opportunity to make a composition of my own. Rather than showing the entire arch, I decided to photograph the scene tighter, focusing more on the window created under the arch and the distant spires.
