The dramatic beauty of the lesser known and visited Snowy Range Mountains in southern Wyoming rivals that of many other mountain ranges I've seen in America.  I had seen this composition on an earlier trip home from Grand Teton National Park, but at that time, the sky was overcast and not complimentary to the scene.  I wondered how Medicine Bow Peak in the distance might appear with the rapids spilling out of Lake Marie at first light.  After several years, I was able to return and photograph this visualization.
