Goblin Valley State Park, Utah
Goblin Valley State Park is a lesser known area in Utah between Canyonlands and Capitol Reef National Parks. This place can be somewhat overwhelming for photography. On this particular evening, I wandered around for several hours trying to figure out a way to make a composition. Finally, just before sunset, I decided on this scene that I had found earlier in the day. I liked the position and shapes of the rocks with the canyon wall lit up in the background by the last light of the day.
