Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee
For this scene, I climbed down from Newfound Gap Road to the edge of the rain swollen Little Pigeon River. From this vantage point, I was able to compose the image with the white water thundering past the large boulders in the foreground and the bridge framing the river in the misty, hazy background.
